Cancer Detection

Working with engineers and cancer biologists, I developed a method for detecting and capturing metastatic cancer cells in human blood which spread cancer throughout the body.  The goal was to create a new diagnostic tool that can be used with genome-sequenced based personalized cancer therapeutics which target the cancer cells that spread cancer throughout the body, stopping cancer progression beyond the initial site.
